Ardershir Ghavamzadeh

Prof. Hematology/Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplantation

Prof. Ardeshir Ghavamzadeh is a hematologist/oncologist from University of Basel, Switzerland. He performed the first bone marrow transplant for Iran in 1991. Ever since he has performed over 7’000 stem cell transplants with his team. He is the award winner of 2010 EBMT and winner of the Distinguished Service Award of CIBMTR 2012. He has over 400 published papers in cancer research. Currently he is actively researching on various aspect of stem cell therapy utilizing mesenchymal stem cell, NK cell and Car-NK to treatment incurable disease
